STUDY TOURS.

These are study programs for undergraduates, graduates, scholars and others who are interested in international development and research. The program provides the opportunity to learn through experiences about the work of communities in Kenya and East Africa towards better health, education, environment, culture, economic growth, International relations, Technology, Politics, Human Rights and Social welfare through courses, field placements, internships, research with community level agencies or projects. On these we can arrange for from single student to a group. This program take two weeks and above.
Study Abroad Programs.

Undergraduate & Graduate Students.
(Fall Semester – September to December).
This program starts from September to December. The program includes; orientation, course work and structured field placement with a development agency or project.
This field placement is a short assignment for a participant to learn about a development agency or a particular project through observation and participation. Participants who choose an extended study option will continue with the field placement with full time internship through the end of January.

Undergraduate & Graduate Students.
(Fall Semester extension – September through January to May.)
Participants’ staying longer than fall semester through January to May the field placement actually constitutes the beginning of an internship.
An internship includes a minimum of 30 hours of work per week; demands meaningful, challenging work for the intern, internship supervisor and the academic co-coordinator.
During both the field placement and internship periods, participants must complete academic assignments trying previous course work to the practical experience.

Credit and Academic Policies.
Upon completion of the program, grades are posted on to your home University or College. Grades will not appear on the transcript as quickly as they do for on campus study. Our faculty members must recommend the grades for particular course to the participant’s academic director. Students Exchange Program

Studying in the so called developing countries or third world countries is an exciting and challenging way Having international experience can demonstrate that you have the skills to interact with people from other cultures and that you are independent and adaptable. You may also develop a better understanding of world affairs and be able to demonstrate that you have gained the ability to view situations from multiple perspectives.

Available in Jomo Kenyatta University and others Universities This program is unique in many ways: It offers students an opportunity to study in an East African environment and allows them to integrate the knowledge conveyed in the classroom with real-world experiences. It is more than just a study tour program or a summer study tour. Instead it allows students to broaden their knowledge and experiences. In addition to the academic program, students also benefit from a wide-variety of non-classroom activities, including trips to National parks, cross cultural interaction and other places of interest in East Africa countries

NOTE. Physically able, Deaf and the impaired students, faculty and scholars can also participate in these tours. We tailor make their programs to Marge all their needs.
